What I thought to be a soda..has some crown embossing..anyone seen one like it?

Dug this recently. Was thinking it a typical soda, but the marking has me thinking British. Anyone seen one with this marking? I searched the web and couldn't come up with anything. History around the find area. A Civil War cavalry firepit find. Definitely from that period or dating earlier. It has a circle with a dot in the base. Same size as the typical CW soda. Hope it's not ROYAL CROWN soda!
