10x12 DD coil produced a little noticeable depth of detection, ON LARGER TARGETS, than the stock 8x9 coil.

For coin, token, and button-size targets they were quite close. Some ground conditions favored one over the other just slightly, perhaps an inch or inch-and-a half, using the 10x12 coil, but my personal pick is still the 8x9 for most applications. I have hunted a few sites where the stock 8x9 actually gave a better audio hit on the smaller relics.
